Senior Associate Attorney

caitlin j. easterCaitlin is another Oregonian, born and raised, working at McLain Legal. She graduated from Sam Barlow High School in Gresham and attended college at the University of Oregon, earning a degree in Art History. While in college she worked as a university ambassador/multicultural student recruiter and for the Family Programs through the Dean of Students’ office. She moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University and did an externship with the Collaborative Law Conferencing Clinic. In 2015, she moved back to the Portland area and joined the Oregon Bar Association, becoming McLain Legal’s first associate attorney at the end of May 2016.

Caitlin is passionate about cooperative family law, often working to find creative solutions to complex domestic relations cases, but she also enjoys the electricity of litigation.

While in college, she was a member of the University of Oregon Gospel Singers, an elite touring gospel music choir, showcasing at the Disneyworld Night of Joy festival two years in a row during her tenure. Outside the office, Caitlin coaches a debate team at her former high school, and can often be found at pub trivia nights and enjoying the Portland music scene.
